InDiGo...butterfly bear...

A little bear capable of flying over heads and collecting the 'winter blues'
Meet Indigo.. a tiny 2.5 inch (standing) bear. Hand sewn from long pile sassy fabric with bright blue foot pads. Hand crafted wings of blue and tiny bitter of glitter on her nose.

This is little Petunia..I made her for someone dear to my heart. ..Actually she was a bribe. ;)

As a nurse I see so many unfortunate people. I met a young woman with cervical cancer..25 and terminal. She will leave behind two small children.

I texted the person dear to my heart and asked her if she had been to the gynecologist.

"not in about 10 years" she said.

So I made a deal..."you go to the doctor and I will send you a bear"

So little Petunia arrived to her new home and I have one less thing to worry about.

Autumn Miniature Bear

My favorite time of year...I couldn't resist this cute fabric. Love the colors of fall.

This little bear meaures 3 inches. I hand sewed her little dress and add a dainty lace to the bottom.  She is hand sewn from sassy brown fabric. I scissor trimmed her little face. Gave her expressive eyes and a hand embroidered black nose.

Not sure if I need a newer one...but the one I have leaves me frustrated and cursing under my breath.
